CSC587: Web Services Using XML and SOAP

Web services are services offered by one application to another application via the World Wide Web (WWW). In this course, we will explore how the web service architecture is realized by using Java programming language, eXtensible Market-up language(XML), and Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP). The main programming language used for instruction is Java. However, a thorough understanding about C++ will suffice. Topics include concept of web services, interactive web application technology, XML, JAX-RPC, and SAAJ.
